The Wendy Foster Dresshop just received a beautiful collection of fall sweaters by Tom Scott. Each sweater has unique and unusual details. The collection is very fashion forward. The collection includes the clever smoking gloves we had last fall.

Sportswear just received an wonderful fall collection by the Swedish company Odd Molly. The eclectic collection includes some beautiful blouses and dresses.The collection also includes an adorable crochet skirt with tights to match.

Our Fall 2008 Heidi Merrick collection is in and we are ecstatic about the plethora of skirts, dresses and coats that have arrived! Since our first delivery, Heidi Merrick, a Santa Barbara native designer, has stolen our hearts and reminded us why we love to look feminine!
This time, Heidi has ushered us into autumn with exquisitely crafted separates like the ones pictured, which add femininity to your wardrobe with designs that make it easy to feel beautiful! Heidi Merrick, who grew up in Santa Barbara, compares her craft to that of her legendary father’s, surfboard maker, Al Merrick.
The only difference she says between them is their mediums, his is the surfboard and hers, the dress. Inspired particularly by her mother, who handmade all her clothing until the age of four as well has her wedding dress, Heidi claims, “The clothes I make are the clothes I want to wear.

Orange Cosmos by Rose Moradian
Cosmos are one of the most widely recognized and used wildflower in a cutting flower garden. Often Cosmos are pastels, pinks and whites. Less common and more tenacious are Sulfur Cosmos, coming in orange and yellows. Cosmos are prolific bloomers and reseed freely.
Cosmos are annuals, blooming spring thru fall, but the seeds they drop continue their legacy the following year. If you can recognize the tiny seedlings you can move them around the garden to a more appropriate location, considering the bright orange color can clash. One plant can make as many baby plants as the area will allow, so its great for as a colorful 
background, but not a center piece.
Give them an they take a state. Cosmos thrive on neglect. Do not fertilize them or they will stop blooming! No wonder they are such a popular wildflower! I use Sulfur Cosmos in Wendys Garden as a filler both in the ground and in the vase.
The stems are shorter than the pastel cosmos. The plant itself can be up to 4′ tall with wide branching habit, better to drop seeds, you see. I cut an entire branch and as a colorful fringe for flower arrangements. I also am growing a light yellow, almost banana colored cosmos at the Lafond Garden, collected from a friends garden in Tennessee.
Of course, the Lafond Garden is partially a wildflower garden as you will see when you visit. Orange sulfur cosmos look good with red Roses, Sunflowers, blue Phlox, Salvia Ulglinosa and Ladies Bells. Its such a vivid color! Hardly a shy plant, holding its own in the fabulous jungle of Wendys!

Our first delivery has brought us a splash of color, as the dresses are cut from bright, fun patterns of flowy fabric. Both dresses can be dressed up or down and can be easily worn into the cooler seasons with sweaters.
To balance the bold fabric designs, Tree has ensured each of their patterns are figure flattering and worn effortlessly on all body types. Tree has brought us beautiful dresses so far and we cannot wait to see what else is in store.
