Our Fall 2008 Heidi Merrick collection is in and we are ecstatic about the plethora of skirts, dresses and coats that have arrived! Since our first delivery, Heidi Merrick, a Santa Barbara native designer, has stolen our hearts and reminded us why we love to look feminine!

This time, Heidi has ushered us into autumn with exquisitely crafted separates like the ones pictured, which add femininity to your wardrobe with designs that make it easy to feel beautiful! Heidi Merrick, who grew up in Santa Barbara, compares her craft to that of her legendary father’s, surfboard maker, Al Merrick.

The only difference she says between them is their mediums, his is the surfboard and hers, the dress. Inspired particularly by her mother, who handmade all her clothing until the age of four as well has her wedding dress, Heidi claims, “The clothes I make are the clothes I want to wear.
