The Los Angeles based clothing and housewares designer of Dosa, Christina Kim, typically searches south of the border each season to find inspiration in her fabrics, colors, and overall look. This time Christina’s constellation tikdi silk group consists of renmants to simulate the night sky as it will appear in India at mindight on October 20th 2010.
Each appliqued dot or “tikdi” represents a star in the night sky. This collection is particularly outstanding and done in a beautiful navy and black palette. This earth friendly line has been a Wendy Foster favorite for many years and Christina consistently blows us away with the beauty and creativity she presents each season.

Catherine worked for us as a merchandiser, several years ago, but when she and Carl moved to Sacramento she became a freelance Window Designer as well as many other things. Her displays appear in all our stores and Upstairs sells many of her creations from furniture to art pieces. Here she is doing Wendy Foster’s windows and in the next few days will do the other stores.
Her Displays are always extraordinary, she makes incredibly intricate and detailed items which are works of art in themselves. Well worth the effort of a trip just to view them.

Thanks to a wonderful response from customers Indigenous has been able to slowly build up capacity and provide stable work for the artisans, that now helps support over 700 families in the highlands of Peru.The collection includes sweaters,skirts and tees.

Pyrrha is designed by Wade Papin and Danielle Wilmore. Pyrrha’s most recent incarnation came about after the designers were inspired by a box of 19th century wax seals. As they started researching the imagery in the seals they were intrigued by the richness of the symbolism. Sportswear has an assortment of beautiful necklaces by this company.
