Belgium designer, Dries Van Noten, has delivered his first glimpse of Fall to the dress shop and it’s selling fast.
Dries sought inspiration this time from the paintings of Francis Bacon and then translated the thoughts and feelings evoked by the artist into his garments.
This becomes clear in his choice of color palette, which comprise of dusty brights that contrast beautifully with taupe. Dries’ fabrics are luxurious and drape so sensationally on the body. The look is effortless and sophisticated which is true to his aesthetic.
According to the fashion legend, “In the end, clothes have to reflect what’s happening in the world. You start there, and then you dream the rest”.

Born and raised in Santa Barbara, Benjamin Stowell Kendall grew up collecting shells and various trinkets he found on his adventures at treasured Hendry’s Beach.
A self taught artist, Ben’s creative talents include illustration, fine art, architectural renderings, tattoo design, pin up art, figure drawings, as well as hand-carved jewelry. Ben has been carving abalone for over five years, and Stowellen is his first line of jewelry. Ben focuses on extracting natural materials and crafting them into pieces of modern art.

Ya Living makes exotic tunics that are hand-loomed from 100% organic cotton. The cotton and herbs used in the fabrics are organically grown in a lush garden in Kerala, India.
The raw yarn is washed in mineral-rich water and bleached with organic bleaching agents, then dipped in a mixture of ayrvedic organic herbs known to enhance wellness. After several hours it is hand-loomed and the result is beautiful, fresh and certainly easy to wear tunic worn best with a thin layer underneath.
